This is my first blog on soaping. I wish to share my very successful recipe on Palm oil free soap. I have never used palm oil and often share posts around in regards to the mass genocide of orangutans and other wildlife that is in danger of extinction due to the demand of palm oil.
So here is my first recipe.
I have tweaked this recipe and its perfect for me, traces quickly, so if you want time to swirl etc then add sunflower oil instead of rice bran.
This makes 1kg of soap, multiply as needed.
olive 410g
coconut 200g
castor 26g
rice bran 45g
shea butter 14g
cocoa butter 14g

lye 98g
if you’re not making goats milk soap then the water amount will be 192g
